The Busan Story Market (BSM) is a specialized marketplace for film and audiovisual adaptations of original intellectual property (IP).

This year’s 19 Official Selection of Korean IP feature high-quality works spanning diverse genres and narratives, reflecting strong planning and global market potential. Significantly, their fresh perspectives and remarkable creativity highlight adaptability to new formats, capturing the attention of industry professionals.

The six Taiwanese IPs presented by the Taiwan Content Creative Agency (TAICCA) feature not only genre diversity and narrative experimentation, but also social insight, multidimensional characters, and emotionally rich storytelling. Likewise, the six Japanese IPs introduced by Japan’s the Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO) showcases a wide spectrum of genres and formats, with this year marking the official introduction of TV drama IPs, particularly notable for their strong potential for remake rights and expansion into OSMU.

Through the introduction of selected works from Japan and Taiwan, both key players in IP industry, Busan Story Market is expected to further solidify its position as a hub for original IP trading in the Asia.
