Platform BUSAN 2023
Date 7 – 10 October 2023
Venue At the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), BEXCO, Busan
Registration Period 17 July – 15 August 2023 (CLOSED)
Eligibility Emerging Asian independent filmmakers who have participated in more than one short film or up to 2 feature films as main staff
  • An applicant must be able to communicate in English as all programs are conducted in English to promote multinational networking of filmmakers
How to Apply 1. Download and fill out both Platform BUSAN Application Form and Platform BUSAN Recommendation Form. Then, email them to platform@biff.kr with any additional supporting documents.
2. A Platform BUSAN Badge registration form will be sent separately to those who have been approved.

3. Supporting Documents:
  • For a member of a company or institution/organization: a proof of employment letter or registration letter
    *The application can be denied if the recommendation form and supporting documents are not submitted
Benefits for Participants A complimentary accreditation of Platform BUSAN allowing access to Platform BUSAN’s exclusive events and gatherings

  • Access to the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) *Excluding access to the Market Screenings, Market Shuttle, Video Room, and invitation-only Receptions
NOTES
  • A former participant can join Platform BUSAN up to two times including the number of previous participation.
  • All Platform BUSAN programs are offered in English only.
  • Other badge holders are prohibited from applying for Platform BUSAN.
  • Subject to seat availability, other badge holders may participate in Platform BUSAN programs during the festival.
  • If an approved applicant fails to attend Platform BUSAN 2023 without notification, he or she may be at a disadvantage in participating future Platform BUSAN.
  • To provide the best experiences for each participant, the submission may close earlier to limit the number of participants.
  • Complimentary flight tickets and accommodation are NOT provided.
