Eligibility Emerging independent filmmakers who have participated in more than one short film or up to 2 feature films as main staff *To facilitate networking among Asian filmmakers from different countries, all applicants must be proficient in English.
*Former participants can join Platform BUSAN up to two times, including any previous participation.
How to Apply 1. Fill in the Platform BUSAN Application Form. Submit the Platform BUSAN Recommendation Form and supporting documents to platform@acfm.kr.

2. A Platform BUSAN Badge registration form will be sent separately to those who have been approved.

3. Supporting Documents (Optional):
  • For a member of a company or institution/organization: a proof of employment letter or registration letter
  • A document showing your artistic achievements, such as a portfolio that provides information about your career, filmography, etc.
*The application can be denied if the recommendation form is not submitted.

  • Access to Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) (Excluding access to the Online Screenings, Market Shuttle, Video Library, and Invitation-only Receptions)

*Festival Badge does NOT grant access to Opening/Closing ceremonies.
NOTES
  • All Platform BUSAN programs are conducted in English.
  • Former participants of Platform BUSAN are eligible to apply up to two times, inclusive of any prior participation.
  • Failure to attend without prior notification may result in a disadvantage for future participation.
  • Submissions may close earlier to ensure an optimal experience for participants.

Please be advised that:
  • VISA-related documents will not be provided.
  • Flight tickets and accommodations will not be provided.
*Industry professionals with an interest in business or sales activities are encouraged to register for the Market badge.
*University students who have not yet made their debut are encouraged to register for the Cinephile badge.
*Other badge holders are not permitted to apply for the Platform BUSAN application.
