The Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) is launching ‘The A’, a new initiative designed to lay the foundation for sustainable growth in the Asian content and film industries while strengthening cross-border cooperation. ‘The A’ serves as a strategic brand that embodies ACFM’s leadership, encompassing Asia, Alliance, Analysis, Agent, and Art (art and technology), among other values.

The A Summit will feature two key conferences offering a comprehensive overview of major trends across the Asian film industry and the broader Asian market.

The first, A Summit: Reflections on Asian Film Trends—co-hosted with the Asian Film Alliance Network (AFAN), established in 2023 under the leadership of the Korean Film Council—will examine the significance and impact of film and content industry research reports published across various Asian countries.

The second, the Asian Film Market Leaders Summit, will convene leaders from major Asian film markets to discuss the roles, functions, and future vision of film and content markets in Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and beyond. Sessions will also address the current status of government and public institutional support for these markets, and explore strategies to enhance future exchange and cooperation.
