Producer Hub Launch:
South Korea Selected as the Focus Country! |
|
Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) proudly announces the launch of the ‘Producer Hub’, a new program aimed at fostering global networks and promoting collaboration among producers with a focus on international co-productions and financing. This inaugural event will see participation from producers recommended by six overseas partner organizations, including Japan Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO), Hong Kong Creative and Cultural Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), Association of Indonesian Film Producers (APROFI), Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), and Italy’s Directorate General for Cinema (Cinecitta’). The Institutional Partners have recommended prominent co-production producers from their respective countries, facilitating active exchanges and strengthening the foundation for international collaboration. Additionally, individual applicants from countries such as the United States, India, Nepal, and Kazakhstan. 124 producers from 19 countries will gather to share insights into the evolving film production landscape and exchange valuable information on investment, production, shooting, and support programs.

Korea has been selected as the first ‘Focus Country’ for the inaugural Producer Hub, and on 12 September, the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) and ACFM officially signed an agreement to solidify this partnership!

Co-hosted with the Korean Film Council’s KO-PICK Showcase, this program aims to create new investment and collaboration opportunities for Korean film producers. It is designed to not only highlight the current state of the Korean film industry but also to expand international co-production opportunities. The Producer Hub will offer a range of events including talks, case studies, and networking events from 5th to 7th October, at the Producer Hub, Hall 4F, Exhibition Center 2, BEXCO, Busan.
