Asian Contents & Film Market 2021 Open!
|
The 16th Asian Contents & Film Market opens today. Various services including Online Booths, Participants, Online Screening, APM and E-IP Market Selections information, APM and E-IP Market business meetings, and ACFM Conference are available on ‘ACFM 2021 Online’. The E-IP Market business meetings begin today both online and in Busan. ‘E-IP Pitch & Talk’, one of the ACFM Conference sessions, introduces the 28 Korean IPs and 10 Taiwanese IPs that have been officially selected for the E-IP Market. Additionally, other noteworthy sessions for the ACFM Conference are available for viewing on ‘ACFM 2021 Online’ anytime, anywhere.

E-IP Market Business Meeting Starts Today
|
The E-IP (Entertainment Intellectual Property) Market is an IP trading zone for various original content adaptable across multiple media platforms. E-IP Market 2021 collected various domestic original IPs, such as books, webtoons, web novels, and stories, that are adaptable across diverse media platforms, and received a total of 94 projects from 40 companies, setting a new record. 28 projects have been selected from the Korean section. Following last year, Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO) will participate in the E-IP Market with outstanding 10 Taiwanese original IPs and 7 Japanese original IPs. The E-IP Market, which has received much attention for its various selections with great potential for film and audiovisual adaptations, has achieved a new record in the number of business meeting reservations – a total of 730 meetings – further heightening excitement for the event.
The E-IP Market Business Meeting which fosters adaptation deals of original IPs begins today both online and in Busan with the participation of domestic and international industry professionals.

Online Screening Open for Viewing
|
|
In addition to the Busan International Film Festival’s official selections which has been available for viewing since October 6 on ‘ACFM 2021 Online' (http://online.acfm.kr), ‘Market Screening’ has also been released. Online Screening, a benefit Market badge holders enjoy, provides access to 318 Market Screening films, 112 BIFF Selection films, and the previous films of APM Directors.

ACFM 2021 Online Conference Lineup
|
The 2021 Asian Contents & Film Market’s ACFM Conference is available for viewing on ‘ACFM 2021 Online’ (http://online.acfm.kr) throughout the market. Sessions which have been co-organized with other organizations are set to go live at specific times and will also be available for viewing throughout ACFM afterwards.
“Making the World Smaller for Asian Content” is a session co-organized by iQiyi, a strong player in the Asian streaming platform market. iQiyi’s VP of International Business Kuek Yu-Chuang, and some surprise guests as they share their 2021 wins so far, and what’s in the pipeline for the streamer in their mission to become the definitive home of pan-Asian entertainment.
“The Present of Storytelling with Unity: Case Study of MWU KR Award 2021 Selections” is a session co-organized by UNITY TECHNOLOGIES KOREA. Unity is the world's most used real-time 3D content creation tool and is being actively used in various content industries such as games, interactive content, and animation. Through this session, the speakers will introduce the latest storytelling techniques and how to use them with Unity with two case studies selected for Made with Unity Korea Award 2021
Also, in conjunction with the E-IP Market which opens today, the ‘E-IP Pitch & Talk 2021' sessions will go live. The presenters of various original content that have been selected as the official E-IP Market 2021 selections will pitch their respective projects to industry professionals with regards to the film and audiovisual adaptation potential of the original IP.
