The second session, "OTT Content Storytelling Strategies," will compare and analyze the traditional "three-act structure" used in feature films with the storytelling methods of new media content. By examining the narrative strategies of successful works from various formats, such as YouTube sketch comedies, OTT dramas, and web dramas—ranging from 10 to 30 minutes in runtime—this session will review effective cinematic storytelling techniques for audiovisual content that is expanding across different media platforms.

CHO Eunhee (CEO, Story Holdings)

Eunhee Cho is a screenwriter, director, professor, and the CEO of Story Holdings. She has served as an adjunct professor at Dongguk University DUICA, Seoul Arts Colleagues, and the School of Film and Animation at Hongik University. She currently teaches screenplay, film production, and OTT film/video storytelling at the Department of Film and Video and the Graduate School of Digital Image and Contents at Dongguk University. Story Holdings is a global story development and knowledge media group that focuses on discovering stories with high potential, developing hooks, and transforming them into high-concept scripts through script doctoring, tailoring them for various platforms. Her directorial works include City Experience (2016), a peace and unification film produced by the Ministry of Unification, and Inner Circle Line (2006), which won the Best Director Award at the San Diego Women's Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival.

JUNG Hyewon (CEO, profilebox)

Jung Hyewon is a director and screenwriter. Her Major works include Lookalike( )_22yo_Koreancollegegirl.avi. She currently operates Profile Box, a LinkedIn (open video portfolio sharing platform) for aspiring video artists, and was selected as an excellent support company for the 2020 Preliminary Startup Package. With the approval of the corporate research institute in 2023, Studio Profile Box is about to leap forward as the Profile Box Research and Development Department and production company publisher. Achievements related to film include selection and graduation from the 2nd batch of the Film Promotion Committee's Scene One Academy in 2021, selection and graduation from the Story Development Lab in 2022, and completion of a feature-length film contract in 2022.

SHIN Chul (Screenwriter, Opening Film Uprising)

Writer Shin Chul began his film career in 1998 in the production department of the powerhouse Myung Films. He participated in the production teams of notable works by Korea's leading directors, such as Kim Ki-duk’s The Isle (2000), Park Chan-wook's Joint Security Area (2000) and Yim Soon-rye's Waikiki Brothers (2002). He then built his career as a producer by working on Im Sang-soo's A Good Lawyer's Wife (2003) and The President's Last Bang (2005). Currently, he is active as a screenwriter for various films and webtoons. He writes with the philosophy that film is both entertainment and an extension of the real world, believing that his work should provide enjoyment to the audience while also imparting wisdom for living a better life.

LEE Taedong (Director, BLACKPAPER)

Lee Tae-dong is a director of BLACKPAPER. He produced the series Good Damm Company (Seasons 1 to 3) and was invited to the Cannes series in 2022. Afterwards, he directed and produced the Ganggyejang series, directed the WATCHA original King of Desert, and planned the No Name Movie series on YouTube's Jin Yong-jin channel. He active in new media and short-form genres.

Jason BECHERVAISE (Hanyang University)

Jason Bechervaise is currently an Assistant Professor at Hanyang University in the Office of International Affairs in Seoul where he teaches about the Korean Media and Cultural Industry. He completed his BA and MA in London while he did his Ph.D. in film at Hanyang University in Seoul where he wrote his thesis on the work of Bong Joon Ho and national and transnational cinema. Jason has also taught Korean cinema at various universities in South Korea including Korea University and Dongguk University. In addition, he has written about Korean films in publications such as Film Quarterly, Screen International and regularly appears in the media talking about Korean content.
