Leading filmmakers and professionals from Korea, China, and Japan will discuss how companies rethink their traditional business models and decision-making processes in an increasingly AI-driven landscape. Our discussion will focus on the competitive dynamics introduced by AI, including the rise of new stakeholders, content volume growth, and the accelerating pace of technological advancements.

Ally Sunhee HAN (Curator, ACFM)

ACFM Curator Ally Sunhee HAN is a filmmaker, writer and educator focusing on international film industry network, co-production, innovation of film technology and aesthetics, and education for new generation of Asian filmmakers. As a producer, her current narrative projects-in-development The Final Print (2018) and Winter Worm, Summer Grass (2019) were respectively awarded at the Asian Project Market. As a director, her debut feature documentary Old Days (2016) was invited at Jeonju Int’l Film Festival and Udine Far East Film Festival among others, followed by a narrative short film Transmigration: The Turtle and the Women (2021) at the Seoul Independent Film Festival. Since 2017, she has been educating young Asian filmmakers as a faculty at the International Film Business Academy of the Busan Asian Film School.

Aaron ZHU (Business Development Producer, DENTSU INC.)

Aaron Z. Zhu is the business development producer and author of DENTSU, INC., is the largest advertising agency in Japan. He graduated from University of Southern California (B.A. Degree) and Waseda University (MBA). His experience ranges from brand extension, entertainment, and AI technologies. He has created Digital-Human Casting project that is first casting project, to use AI and real talents with major entertainment agencies in Japan. He has authored books such as ‘The way of OODA: four steps to decision making for global strategies, Visualize your ideas with eight diagrams etc

ZHU Liang(Vice President, iQIYI)

Vice President of iQIYI, Head of Intelligent Production Department, responsible for the R&D and production services of iQIYI Nexus content management platform, film and television production management system, cloud production, virtual production, digital asset library, and other products. He is also the Deputy Director of the Advanced Imaging Committee of China Film and Television Technology Society and a board member of the China Society of Cinematographers. With a Ph.D. from Beijing Film Academy, he previously served as a professor and deputy director in the Department of Film and Television Technology at the Beijing Film Academy, engaging in talent cultivation, creative work, and research in film technology. He has received numerous international and domestic professional awards for his works and papers, including the films White-Haired Girl, The Mysteries of China, and the TV series My Journey to You.

PARK Kiju (CTO of Future Technology Research Lab., WYSIWYG Studios)

As a senior researcher at the ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute), he participated in the CG/VFX production for The Restless, Hanbando, and For Horowitz, and joined a member of the film industry. He had contributed in films such as Forbidden Kingdom, as a VFX producer, and Roaring Currents and The Mermaid as an R&D Lead and other types of digital content (animation and interactive content). Since 2020, he has joined WYSIWYG Studios, which is well- known for works such as Space Sweepers and Reborn Rich, and is in charge of the Future Technology Research Lab, conducting R&D on AI and Metaverse.
