Audrius is a professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, a Doctor of Architecture, and the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Award recipient. His films have received numerous international film awards, including the Audience Award in Nyon, the Grand Prix in Split, and prizes in Bornholm, Florence, Gyor, Neu Brandenburg, Oberhausen, Riga, Shanghai, Bilbao, and San Francisco. In 1992, his documentary film Earth of the Blind was recognised by the European Film Academy as the Best European Documentary Film of the Year. He has given lectures and master classes in Kolkata, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Tokyo, Berkeley, Stanford, Belgrade, Barcelona, San Francisco, Carpi Modena, Paris and Amsterdam.
Gary is the first Oscar-nominated documentary producer from South Korea and an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) member. He produced Planet of Snail (2011), the first Asian documentary that won the Best Feature-Length Documentary Award at IDFA and In the Absence (2018), a short documentary nominated for an Oscar. Shadow Flowers (2018) won prizes at South Korea’s DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs), the Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF) and Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de Buenos Aires (FIDBA). Gary is also committed to the art of storytelling and supporting independent documentary makers. He has served as a documentary mentor at the Berlinale, Docedge Kolkata, DMZ Docs, Docs by the Sea and EBS International Documentary Festival, as well as a juror/selection committee member at the Whickers Foundation, IDFA Forum and the International Documentary Association.
Kyungsoo has been directing and producing documentary films since 1999. He produced My Love, Don't Cross That River (2014), directed by Moyoung JIN, which reached 4.8 million viewers in Korean cinemas and won at Vision du Reel, LA IFF, Moscow IFF, etc. With or Without You (2015), directed by Hyuckjee PARK was co-produced internationally with ZDF/Arte, DRTV, Al Jazeera Documentary Channel, and BOS. His latest work, Hanwha Eagles: Club House, was launched in 2022 as an original documentary series on WATCHA, the Korean streaming platform, and Three Sides to Every Story (2024) was produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sewol ferry disaster. Currently, he is producing Prayer (directed by Audrius Stonys), 1980 Sabuk (directed by Bongnam Park), and Can I Talk to You? (directed by Seungjun YI).
