Producer Kim Young has worked across various sectors of the film industry, building a diverse and international career. She worked on film projects as a producer at Motion 101, a production company affiliated with Showbox, and later served as team head of the Diversity Film Division at Movie Collage, which later became Art House under CGV. There, she focused on programming independent and art house films. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she led theatrical promotion of Korean films as team head of the exhibition division at CJ E&M US, working with CGV Cinemas to expand the presence of Korean cinema in the U.S. market. More recently, she produced international co-production documentaries between Korea and France, including The Man Who Paints Water Drops (Kim Oan, Brigitte Bouillot, 2021) and Everything That Connects Us (Jung, 2024), demonstrating her commitment to global storytelling. Currently, she serves as a curator at the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), contributing to various project market support programs, including the Asian Project Market (APM).
