Oh Heejung grew up in Korea and now divides her time between Seoul and Amsterdam. She founded Seesaw Pictures in 2017, a production company behind award-winning films. She has (co-)produced films that premiered at prestigious festivals such as Sundance, Berlinale, IDFA, Locarno, IFFR, among others. She loves working with filmmakers with strong artistic visions and sensitivity. She is an alumna of EAVE, Eurodoc, Berlinale Talents, Rotterdam Lab, and has served on the selection committees of IDFA Bertha Fund, Purin Pictures Fund, and more. She is part of EAVE's Racial Equity Advisory Group and #DocSafe initiative.
Jeffrey oversees TFC’s Film Festival Distribution Program. Jeffrey’s areas of specialty include niche distribution, niche marketing, and festival/non-theatrical/special events distribution. He is especially passionate for social justice and environmental docs, and for LGBTQ+ content. Jeffrey has worked in the film business over twenty years, 11 of which he served as a panel programmer/programming consultant for the Sundance Film Festival’s Digital Center (now called New Frontiers).
James Teng, Director of Giloo Group, built with his team a finely curated streaming platform for documentaries and indie films, which is now expanding into a global platform that empowers filmmakers and distributors with innovative tools and technologies to take control and amplify the impact of their work. Trained in Engineering at National Taiwan University and Media Arts and Sciences at MIT, Teng has been deeply engaged at the intersection of technology, culture, and the arts across Asia.
Ueyama Emi is a Tokyo-based producer whose work bridges international co-productions and independent cinema. She produced The Legacy of Frida Kahlo (2015), a Japan–Mexico co-production screened at Hot Docs and Guadalajara IFF, and Tokyo Kurds (2021), winner of the Jury Award at the Jeonju IFF and selected for TIDF. Her works include I am a Comedian (2022), which had its world premiere at DMZ Docs and Tokyo IFF, and Film Fetish (2023), which premiered at IFFR. Her upcoming documentary Sky, Wind, Stars, and Island (2025) will world premiere at Busan IFF.
