Sekine was born in Nagasaki, Japan. She spent nearly ten years in Michigan, U.S. She later became a film commissioner in Nagasaki and served about five years. In 2008, she moved to Tokyo to help establish the Japan Film Commission, where she is Secretary General and Film Commissioner. She is also Vice President of the Asian Film Commission Network(AFCNet).

Started career as an assistant producer for infomercial at production company. Spent 8 years at travel company as sale planning for destination Europe. In 7 years experience at Tokyo Film Commission, supported both Japanese and international films, TV shows, MV, CM, animations. Born and raised in Tokyo. AFCI and Japan film commission certified film commissioner.

Shinpei Yamamoto, a member of the Shizuoka Film Commission, promotes the region as a filming location for domestic and international productions and creates a welcoming filming environment. He also works in the Tourism Promotion Division, focusing on inbound tourism and passionately sharing Shizuoka’s appeal. The Film Commission offers incentives for overseas productions. Shizuoka features diverse locations, from iconic Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay to everyday urban and residential areas.

Junghoon Choi, as the director of the Ise-Shima Film Commission, handles location management, filming support, obtaining shooting permits, coordinating with local communities, and providing on-set assistance. He also connects filmmakers with unique locations and local communities specific to Ise-Shima, supports sustainable filming, and is passionate about raising the region's international awareness.

Chica Tsuchiya has been working as a Film Commissioner at the Kobe Film Office, the official film commission of Kobe City, for over 20 years. I work closely with filmmakers and production companies to attract and support film and TV productions from Japan and abroad. In recent years, I have been particularly focused on supporting Japan-Korea co-productions, as well as Korean film and TV productions shooting on location in Kobe.

Jieun LEE supports the Himeji Film Commission’s international activities, particularly its connections with film and television professionals in Korea. Working in Korean and English, she connects the Commission with international producers and production companies. She introduces Himeji’s filming locations, production environment, and local appeal to filmmakers, supporting networking and efforts to attract productions. As the Commission celebrates its 25th anniversary, she continues to support its international activities.

Maya Ando, International Film Commissioner of Hiroshima, attracts film and video productions from Japan and abroad. Along with Hiroshima's message of war and peace, she promotes the city's sophisticated urban spaces and remarkable recovery. She is currently developing a more user-friendly incentive program for small- and medium-scale productions, and is widely recognized for proposing locations that match each director/producer's vision and providing meticulous on-site support.
