This summit will bring together leaders of major Asian film markets to examine their roles, functions, and vision in today’s rapidly evolving ecosystem. Discussions will also address the current state of government and public institutional support for these markets, and explore ways to further enhance exchange and cooperation in the years ahead. Panels include Korea (ACFM), Japan (TIFFCOM), Hong Kong (FILMMART), Taiwan (TAICCA), Indonesia (JAFF Market) and Saudi Arabia (Red Sea Souk) among others.

Liz SHACKLETON (Asia Editor, Deadline/Founder/Editor, Streamlined)

Based in Hong Kong, Liz Shackleton is the founder & editor of the Streamlined website and newsletter (streamlined.news), which focuses on the film and streaming content industries in Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. She is also Contributing Editor, Asia for Los Angeles-based Deadline, covering major festivals, markets and events, and was previously Asia Editor of Screen International.

Ellen Y. D. KIM (Director, ACFM)

Ellen Y. D. Kim, Director of the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), is a prominent figure in Asian cinema with a rich background in production, festivals, and international collaboration. She founded Flying Tiger Pictures, producing Cry Woman (Cannes 2002) and Hanaan (Locarno 2011), and co-produced Night and Day and Come Rain, Come Shine with Bom Film Production. She spent 12 years at BIFAN as Programmer and Program Director. A founding member of ACFM in 2006, she returned in 2024 as its Director, continuing her commitment to promoting Asian cinema on the global stage.

IKEDA Kaori (Managing Director, TIFFCOM)

Ikeda Kaori has over 30 years of expertise in film acquisition, international sales, theatrical marketing, and curation for cable television. Her career includes senior leadership roles such as Head of Theatrical Distribution at KADOKAWA/Asmik Ace, where she managed DreamWorks Studio titles, and Head of Film Production at Asmik Ace. Since 2020, she has contributed to UNIJAPAN by overseeing bilateral agreements, driving the international promotion of Japanese cinema, and leading talent development initiatives. In 2024, she expanded her role to TIFFCOM, where she directs strategic planning and market operations.

Jennifer HUANG (Senior Manager, International Business, TAICCA)

With years of experience from the industry in content licensing, acquisition and sales, Jennifer then joins TAICCA in Content Lab as the Project Manager of the investment schemes, Creative Content Development Program (CCDP), and Taiwan’s International Co-funding Program (TICP). Now as the Senior Manager of International Business, Jennifer travels across major festivals and markets, with the mission to enhance the gateway to global market and facilitate partnerships with different countries for Taiwan’s audiovisual industry.

Josephine LAM (Section Head of Entertainment Industry Service Promotion, HKTDC)

As Section Head of Entertainment Industry Service Promotion and Secretary of the Entertainment Industry Advisory Committee for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Josephine oversees the mission to develop Hong Kong as the premier business hub for the entertainment industry, encompassing film, television, animation, music, and digital entertainment. For the past decade, she has dedicated herself to creative sectors, spearheading the development of two of Asia's leading marketplaces: the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART). Under her leadership, these events have experienced substantial growth in both government support and global participation.

Linda GOZALI (Director, JAFF Market)

Linda Gozali is an Indonesian film producer and co-founder of MAGMA Entertainment, where she blends cultural roots with commercial vision. Her works include The Heartbreak Club (Sobat Ambyar, 2020), the first Indonesian film on Netflix worldwide; Qodrat (The Unholy, 2022), a box office hit that redefined Islamic horror; and Qodrat 2 (2025), which triumphed during Eid Mubarak against five other local releases. She also serves as Secretary General of APROFI, Director of JAFF Market, and was Secretary General of the Indonesian Film Festival Committee (2021 - 2023). Despite these roles, she currently serves as JAFF Market Director, building Indonesia’s first and the only film market to embrace Asia Pacific and global collaborations.

Holly DANIEL (Director, Red Sea Souk)

Holly Daniel is the Director of the Red Sea Souk, the film and project market of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. Held in Jeddah each December, the Souk and Festival welcomes over 6,000 accredited industry delegates offering them access to talks, networking and a project market of 40 feature films and series in development, production or post production from across Africa, the Arab world and Asia.
