Kim Sunah is a Korean-American filmmaker dedicated to stories that illuminates the human spirit. Based in Korea, her producing credits include Singing with Angry Bird (2016), Coming to You, Minu (2020), The Birth of Resonance (2021), and Netflix's My Love: Six Stories of True Love (2021). She co-founded the Korean Documentary Network and led industry programming at DMZ Docs (2022-2023). As a lecturer, consultant, and mentor, she works with emerging and veteran filmmakers to bring powerful documentary voices to the world.
John Seongho Choi is an award-winning Canadian Korean filmmaker with over 25 years of experience as a filmmaker. His work has been featured on major platforms such as Netflix Originals, Prime, YouTube Originals, CBC, NHK Japan, SBS Australia, and more. Throughout his career, John has worked on a wide range of projects, from independent films to Hollywood studio productions, commercials, and music videos. He is passionate about filmmaking and brings a unique, authentic, and meaningful perspective to every project.
John's directorial accomplishments were recognized with the 2024 Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction - Documentary Series for DARK SIDE OF COMEDY (2022). His other recent projects include the A&E series THE ELEVEN (2017), CBC Docs POV SPACEMAN (2019), and feature documentaries LOST & FOUND (2016), K-POP EVOLUTION (2021), and the Netflix Original series THE RAINCOAT KILLER (2021).
A Warsaw-based film producer, best known for The Antarctic Syndrome (2019) and, most recently, Fanatics: The History of Polish Animated Film (2025). He is also an active organizer of initiatives, events, and delegations that support the film community and connect Polish documentary filmmakers with international partners. He has co-organized industry events held alongside the Krakow Film Festival, GZDOC in China, and the Marché du Film in Cannes. Since 2022, he has served as Chair of the Documentary Film Section of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
Takenaka Kyoko is a Paris- and Tokyo-based producer and actor. She was the first Japanese national accepted into the Acting Department of the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts, earning her national qualification in 2016. Since 2021, she has produced all of Shingo Ota's films, including At Kinosaki (2022) (Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, Artistic Excellence Award) and the feature documentary Numakage Public Pool (2025) (Doc Edge world premiere, Busan IFF Asian premiere). Most recently, she produced The Chimney Sweeper, awarded Best Project at the Okinawa Pan-Pacific Film Festival. Alongside producing, she presents her own interdisciplinary art projects internationally.
