IsmailBASBETH is a self-taught filmmaker, alumni of the Berlinale Talent and Asian Film Academy. His debut film as director was in the Tiger Award IFFR. He has also produced and directed short and feature films which have been highlighted in prestigious international film festivals. He founded Matta Cinema Production, a film production focused on film for audiences. He is also co-founder and managing director of Bosan Berisik Lab, an interdisciplinary laboratory that empowers young filmmakers, artists and writers to create creative and experimental works on various mediums. Ruang Basbeth Bercerita is his publishing company where he explores storytelling in the context of social and cultural activities as an artist, filmmaker, writer and singer-songwriter.
Nugroho Dewanto Graduated from Social & Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, he worked as a journalist for the Economics and Business tabloid KONTAN then moved to the TEMPO MEDIA Group. Nugroho served as Managing Editor for Economics and Business at TEMPO magazine, Koran Tempo, and Tempo.co recently.
He has also written and edited several books and research reports in the mining and plantation sectors. Some of his books are biographies of prominent politicians, entrepreneurs, and religious figures from Indonesia. Since early July 2025, Nugroho has been appointed CEO and Producer at Matta Cinema Production, a Production House focused on Indonesian audiences based in Jakarta.
Wahyu Dhyatmika is the CEO of Info Media Digital, the digital arm of Tempo Media Group, overseeing Tempo.co, Cantika.com, Teras.id, Indonesiana.id, and subsidiaries like Data.tempo.co and Tempoinstitute.com. He is also a producer for Pal8, Tempo's arm for film production.
A journalist for 20+ years, Wahyu co-founded CekFakta.com and IndonesiaLeaks.id, and launched TempoWitness to empower citizen reporting. Wahyu led Tempo’s digital shift with Indonesia’s first media hackathon, an ICFJ Knight Fellow, and a reader membership program. Currently Chairperson of AMSI and former Nieman Fellow at Harvard (2014-2015).
Lyza Anggraheni, Formerly working as Festival Manager at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, she also the Program Director at the Yayasan Sinema Yogyakarta, which has overseen JAFF Netpac.
In 2021, Lyza co-founded the publishing company Ruang Basbeth Bercerita with IsmailBASBETH an experienced Indonesian writer and director, where she developed Ismail’s original stories into IP for book, music, film and series by collaborating with several filmmakers.
After her debut as producer in Busan International Film Festival 2023, she is continuing participating in several labs such as Talents Tokyo and Asian Producer Network SGIFF. She graduated from Busan Asian Film School in 2024 where she got TAICCA Award for her project Raib.
