In this session, we look at what happens after a film is made. We will cover the basics of marketing and distributing Asian films, including identifying audiences, positioning a film, creating simple marketing materials, working with festivals and sales agents, and understanding key distribution windows. The session will also highlight practical considerations when bringing a film to audiences locally and internationally.

TAN Si En(Managing Director / Producer, MOMO FILM CO.)

Tan Si En is a film and television producer and founder of Momo Film Co. An alum of ACE Producers, Berlinale Talents and Rotterdam Lab, they have produced acclaimed films including Wet Season (2019), Dreaming & Dying (2023) and Don’t Cry, Butterfly (2024), which won the Grand Prix and Most Innovative Film Award at Venice Critics’ Week. Recent co-productions include Nagi Notes (Cannes 2026 Competition), A Useful Ghost (Cannes Critics’ Week Grand Prix), Levitating (2026) and Andragogy (2023).
