Kang Sarah is a producer at Seesaw Pictures, a boutique production company with a slate of award-winning films. Before producing, she was Head of Industry at Jeonju IFF. She produced Baby Jackfruit Baby Guava (2026), which won Special Jury Award in Burning Lights Competition at Visions du Réel and screened at Hot Docs and Camden, and will screen at BIFF this year. She is an alumna of Eurodoc, Dok Incubator, and Asian Producers Network, and mentors for the Docs by the Sea Open Lab.

She has worked with the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival since 1993 as Program Coordinator and Director of Tokyo Office. As head of Documentary Dream Center, she organizes filmmaking workshops in various Asian destinations since 2009 and launched Yamagata Documentary Dojo, a residency program for independent filmmakers in 2018. She supports Japanese films liaison internationally, and aims to foster documentary, its makers and audiences through international exchange. She is producer of Nude at Heart (2021) and other documentaries.

Gugi Gumilang is a documentary professional in programming, producing, and industry development. As Programme Director of In-Docs, he leads Docs by the Sea, supporting Asian filmmakers and projects internationally. He serves as an International Programmer for Hot Docs. His producing work has screened and received awards at CPH, IDFA, Busan International Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, and BFI London Film Festival. He mentors filmmakers and contributes to international juries and selection committees, including Sundance Documentary Fund, Cannes Docs, and many more.

Jessie Yang currently works as the project executive for Taiwan Docs, a platform under the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute that promotes Taiwanese documentaries abroad and assists the domestic filmmakers in reaching a wider audience. She has helped accomplish Taiwanese retrospective programs in many international festivals, such as Ji.hlava IDFF, Dokufest, Yamagata IDFF, Docudays UA etc.

A festival programmer and curator, Kim studied Visual Arts and TV at Rutgers University. Focusing on Asian cinema, he served as a programmer for Busan IFF and DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, and advised for Locarno IFF, IDFA, Sheffield DocFest, and the Red Sea IFF. Currently, he works as a programmer for the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival and BIFAN.

Moon Juhwa is a film critic and programmer who received the Cine21 Film Criticism Award in 2024. Her critical practice spans various fields of contemporary art, including criticism, research, and curatorial screening projects. In 2025, she curated Dear you, Unrelated (2025) the opening film of the Seoul Independent Film Festival. Since 2026, she has been a programmer for the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.

Shanida is Co-Executive Director at Doc Society where she oversees the global film strategy for the independent documentary organisation, funding a wide range of non-fiction film, audio and immersive projects. Shanida is interested in equitable funding models, looking at how to move beyond centres of power toward truly distributed knowledge and funding strategies that support independent non fiction makers everywhere. Shanida champions and supports independent creatively visionary work that speaks of deep truths.
