Amanashi Mayuko is a Tokyo-based film producer and founder of Studio Neco. Her work spans film and television, including the Japanese adaptation of Stove League. Named to Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 in 2023, she explores distinctly Japanese humor and new models of development and collaboration that bridge the gap between Japan’s film industry and the international community.

Ide Yoko has worked at Asmik Ace, Inc. since 2008. She has produced internationally acclaimed films including The Scythian Lamb (2018), A Long Goodbye (2019), Missing (2022), and Kaede (2025), which screened at major international festivals. Her latest project is the Japan-Taiwan co-production A List for Tomorrow (dir. Sotoyama Bunji), scheduled for release in 2027.

Iwase Akiko is a Japanese actor, screenwriter, and producer whose international acting credits include MINAMATA (2020), Earthquake Bird (2019), and HBO Max’s Tokyo Vice. As a writer and producer, she created the award-winning Lunar Maria and the feature film A Matter of Sharing (2023). She is currently developing projects for international co-production between Japan and Canada.

Tokyo-based producer. Joined Nagoya TV in 2017, working across sales, business development, and content production. Produced dramas, films, and digital content. Credits include the Japan-Korea co-production The Time Without Her, led as a bilingual producer overseeing development, production, platform sales, and promotion. Completed the Netflix-sponsored VIPO International Producer Course in 2024, expanded international experience in Toronto, and joined BABEL LABEL in 2026.

Co-founder of Dwarf, following the success of Domo-kun and Komaneko, she has led the studio in pioneering high-quality stop-motion production and global streaming collaborations, including Netflix’s Rilakkuma series. Today, she focuses on stop-motion animation and character design, embracing new talent and technologies. Her recent projects include the Oscar-shortlisted Bottle George (2024) and HIDARI (2023), currently in development as a feature film.

Miyamori Shoko is a Tokyo-based producer with experience in film production. Her credits include All Greens (2025), which had its world premiere in the Vision section of the Busan International Film Festival 2025. She is now expanding her work internationally, developing multiple feature projects across Asia, including the Japan–Taiwan co-production Mother Tongue, a two-time TCCF award winner.

Sakano Kaori is a producer at FAB INC. in Tokyo, taking on difficult social subjects and telling them warmly. First Voice, an original she developed from a real sexual-harassment trial, opens through Shochiku and Warner Bros. this October. She has four features in development under a national born-global IP fund, one already taking shape as a Japan–Australia co-production.

Tominaga Rumi is a bilingual producer based in Tokyo. Recent credits: Homecoming: The Tokyo Series (2026, CNN Films, co-executive producer), Naomi Osaka: The Second Set (2025, field producer), and A Quiet Storm, a Canada-Japan co-production (2025, line producer). Raised in the US, she produces in Japan for overseas productions and is now developing her own slate.

Tsutsui Ryohei founded TRIXTA in 2006, a production house now based in Tokyo and Vancouver. Their recent titles include Underground (2025) (Berlinale), GAMA (2023, IDFA, Festival du cinéma de Brive; SFCC Critics' Prize), both by Oda Kaori, and Bangkok Nites by Tomita Katsuya (2016, Locarno FF; Junior Jury Award). He is an alumnus of Tokyo Talents, EAVE Ties That Bind, and Berlinale Talents.

Producer Ueyama Emi works fluidly between documentary and fiction. Her 2021 debut Tokyo Kurds won the Special Jury Award at Jeonju IFF before screening at TIDF. I am a Comedian followed in 2022, playing DMZ Docs and Tokyo IFF, and Film Fetish reached both IFF Rotterdam and Jeonju IFF the following year. Most recently, the Japan-Korea co-production Sky, Wind, Stars and Island (2025) screened at Busan IFF, while her NHK documentary The Story of Discarded Paper and an Elderly Man (2025) was honored at the 42nd ATP Awards.
